Joel Thibault, a larger than life French chef, brought his passion for food and wine to both Vancouver and Whistler in the mid 1970’s by opening Chez Joel. Joel and his wife Angela, opened the Bavaria Restaurant in 2000 which carries on his dream and vision of serving world class European cuisine.
Sadly Joel passed away from cancer in May of 2005. This annual golf tournament is his legacy to raise funds for cancer research.
